Tempered glass is a type of safety glass. When subjected to external force and broken, it shatters into small, blunt-edged pieces that resemble a honeycomb pattern. This characteristic prevents it from causing significant injury to the human body. In fact, tempered glass is remarkably stronger than regular glass, with a strength 3 to 5 times higher for the same thickness.
